Former Fortis Kane Watson (23) will be a part of the Jamaican Table Tennis delegation to the Commonwealth Games in Delhi, India from October 3 to October 14, 2010.
Kane is the son of fellow fortis Basil Watson (sculptor) and grandson of Barry Watson (painter).
Kane will be making his senior team debut during the games. In 2007 Kane was selected to represent the senior team at the Caribbean Championships in Trinidad but opted for a late-emerging and conflicting opportunity to undergo specialized training in China.
Kane is the fourth fortis since 2002 to represent Jamaica at the senior level, following in the footstep of Darryl Strachan, Gavin Hylton and Dale Parham.
The team will be coached by former KC and national stalwart Winston Cowans.
