Well known track and field official, statistician and KCOB Charlie Fuller passed on in Kingston on July 22nd 2013. He was 66 years old.
He held the post of director of records at the Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association (JAAA) until he ran unsuccessfully on the Lincoln Eatmon slate during the last JAAA elections late last year.
He was a founding member of the Manchester Amateur Athletics Association, where he served as treasurer. He also worked closely with the organizing committee of the annual Manchester High Mountain 10K road race as well as the Windalco Development meet.
Fuller was a professional accountant and auditor who worked at Alcan as internal auditing manager. He is survived by wife Olive and son, Sypron.
