Michael Davis - K.C. (1965 – 1973)

Roderick Reid - K.C. (1992 – 1999)
Roderick's crowning achievement at Kingston College was being appointed headboy of the school in his final year. He was apparently murdered in Jamaica on 29th January 2011. His avid love of music and out-going personality were the catalyst that pushed him in the realm of a Promoter. He was credited with promoting some of the most successful parties in and around the Corporate Area. At the time of his death, he was enrolled as a student at the Law Faculty of the University of the West Indies at Cave Hill, Barbados. He was also a former secretary of KCOBA (Jamaica), succeeding the legendary Basil Waite who did not seek re-election.

Editor's Note: The editorial board would like to express its deepest condolences to his family. May his soul rest in peace.

Michael Davis - K.C. (1965 – 1973)
Michael was an outstanding person from the first day we met at Kingston College. His sincere, calming personality was comforting to have during the first days in our new environment. As each high school year passed; Mike became the front-runner for fashion (Flagg Brothers high top boots), style, music (Purple Experience Disco), laughter (dominoes), sports, new endeavours (susu), and "dating" (Carib Theatre). A daring encounter/adventure had Mike's stamp of approval. We respected him, and relied on his counsel for our decisions. He was the greatest friend. In his final days, he exhibited his front-runner trait, showing each of us the journey called life. My friend will be missed. (Contributed by former classmate Noel Spencer).

Editor's Note: Michael fought a brave battle against cancer for over 2-years before accepting the call of the Creator on 30th January 2011. Sincerest condolences to his family and may his soul rest in peace.
