Recently, the Jamaica chapter of the KCOBA honoured three ladies and plaques presented to them as follows:

SONIA ROSE:

In recognition of over two (2) decades of outstanding and dedicated service to Kingston College, in particular the area of Track and Field.

DAWN HAMILTON:

For Dedicated and Continuous service to Track and Field

PAT WILLIAMS BIGNALL

In recognition of her dedicated, loyal and outstanding contribution to the development and interest of Kingston College.

Pat, in her reply on behalf of the other awardees, thanked the KCOBA for the recognition but noted that “whatever we do for Kingston College is done out of pure love; a love that counts no cost yet  gives us  immense gratification.  And, if we had to do it all over again the only thing that we would do differently would be to increase our involvement in the activities of the College in order to ensure that Kingston College is always the standard by which other schools are judged.”
