Dr. Frederick “Buddy” McIntosh was recently reunited with Winston Golden, his neighbor on Maxfield Avenue in Kingston after not having seen each other for over 50 years.  They met with tears in their eyes.  But they were tears of joy.

According to Buddy, the reunion was a “whimsical, memorable day.”   He and Winston had not seen each other since 1960.

They met at the China Express Restaurant in the Marketplace Complex in Kingston on Saturday, September 7th, 2013.  Also present were Winston’s two daughters, Denise and Chandra.

It was largely through the encouragement of Winston that Buddy decided to attend Kingston College. He was originally slated to attend St. George’s College across the street from KC.

While reading an article in the KC Times, back in April, 2013 he saw that Denise Lynn Fatt was mentioned as the daughter of Winston Golden who was a KC Old Boy from the 1940’s and his next door neighbor as a boy.
