Horace Emanuel Minott passed away on October 12, 2021, at Boca Raton Regional Hospital in Boca Raton, Florida.

Horace was born on January 8th, 1949, in Port Antonio, Jamaica. He attended high school at Kingston College, then graduated from the University of the West Indies with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and an associate degree in Marketing.

Horace utilized his education to have a thriving career in many fields, showing that he truly was a jack of all trades. He was a salesman for Appliance Traders and at Allan Biles Limited before moving onto becoming an insurance broker at Life of Jamaica.

He continued his career in insurance when he was recruited by Travelers where he oversaw the eastern Caribbean islands for over a decade in Antigua. Shortly after, he branched off with Travelers to create his own company, Horace Minott & Associates. Horace’s adoration for music also led him to manage artists such as Third World and Frankie Paul.

Horace was a car lover who in his lifetime looked after 28 different cars. During his career he had the opportunity to travel the world two times over. He loved to ride his bike, play music from his extensive vinyl collection, and make jokes to bring a smile to anyone's face. He was a voracious reader and a proponent in his children's pursuit of higher education. He was a father, a husband, a grandfather, a traveler, a friend, a businessman, and so much more.

Horace is survived by his wife, Marcia, his 7 children Horace Jr (Tino), Karla, Mandi, Alex, Jianna, Rudi, and Torri. His grandchildren Madison, Anthony, Harper, and Harlem. His siblings Dennis, Hope, Bunny, Ben, Garth, Karen, and Michael as well as many other loving family members and friends.
