The Kingston College Chapel Choir celebrated its 75th anniversary on February 6, 2022.

A concert in St. Augustine’s Chapel on the school’s North Street campus marked the occasion.

The choir is the vision of founding Headmaster the late Bishop Percival Gibson who established the chapel and the Kingston College Chapel Choir (KCCC) in 1947 to add to the development of educated, Christian gentlemen in the heart of the city.

The KCCC has developed a reputation for quality music, hosting concerts at Christmas and Easter, and has produced several recordings. The choir continues to earn distinction and merit awards from annual Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music examinations.

In 2018 the choir received a Musgrave Medal Award conferred on Jamaicans who have done stellar work in their respective fields of Literature, Science and Art.

Much credit goes to the choir’s Committee Chairman Dr Robert Wan and the management team who support the group's over 50 engagements annually.
