Jamaica International Independence Foreign Song Competition 2023

This year the Jamaica International Independence Foreign Song Competition (JIIFSC ) finale will feature its top seven contestants.

The JIIFSC mission is to create a platform for artists of Jamaican descent, in the diaspora, to showcase their musical talent during the Jamaica Independence Celebration.

The JIIFSC founder and president of the competition, Garfield "Gary G" McCook, is a KC Old Boy based in Atlanta.

The artists for JIIFSC 2023 will be rewarded with US$8000 for first place, US$4000 second place and US$1000 for third place.

Voters worldwide and judges have voted and selected the top seven to perform live July 29th, 2023, at 7PM at Shiloh High School Theater, 4210 Shiloh Rd, Snellville GA 30039. The judges are industry insiders who are from various aspects of the music industry.

Our Special guest artists will be Nanamous, Lavie Lujah, 2021 winner and Goddyson our 2022 winner and Rythmz of the Caribbean. Our key note speaker will be Sculptor, Basil Watson, CD.

The winning song will represent Jamaica's Independence worldwide.

JIIFSC continues to represent the Jamaican culture positively and globally.
