In every great institution, there are those whose contributions may not always make headlines but leave an indelible mark on generations.

A member of the Class of '73 was recently featured in the Fortis Nations Archives as an Unsung Hero of Kingston College.

Dr. Kenneth Vaughan is an example of quiet service, deep commitment, and lasting impact.

He walked the halls of Kingston College from 1968 to 1975. His journey led him to medicine, where he became a renowned Orthopedic Surgeon and later served as the Head of the Orthopedic Department at the University of the West Indies (UWI).

While many would rest on such professional accolades, Dr. Vaughan remained deeply committed to giving back to his alma mater. Since the early 2000s, he has been offering free orthopedic services to KC students, ensuring that injuries and musculoskeletal issues never hinder their academic or athletic potential.

His dedication goes beyond the clinic. Dr. Vaughan is also an active member of the KC School Board, playing a critical role in shaping the future of the school that helped shape him.
