The Atlanta community and extended Kingston College (KC) family mourn the passing of Cole Everton Pitter, beloved son of KC Old Boy Earl Pitter. Cole's life, though far too short, was one of brilliance, creativity, and unwavering love.
Born on May 7, 1989, in Queens, New York, Cole radiated warmth from the very beginning. Raised in a family steeped in love and grounded values, Cole carved a path that was uniquely his own—filled with purpose, inspiration, and deep compassion for others.
A proud graduate of Dunwoody High School, Cole pursued higher education at Georgia State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree. Ever curious and future-focused, Cole recently completed a certificate in Azure Cloud Engineering, reflecting his commitment to innovation and personal growth.
But beyond his academic and professional accomplishments, Cole's heart and soul found expression in music. A gifted lyricist and passionate artist, Cole produced three heartfelt albums under the name Blue Lemonade, crafting music that continues to uplift and inspire. His songs serve as an enduring legacy of the vibrant spirit he brought to the world.
Cole was a son whose kindness could brighten even the darkest day, a brother whose loyalty, wit, and warmth created bonds that will never be broken. He was a friend who saw the best in others, and an artist who poured love and truth into every verse he wrote.
He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Maureen Day, and leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish his memory. He is survived by:
- His father, Earl Pitter
- His stepmother, Yvonne Pitter
- His former stepmother, Michele Sewell-Ross
- His siblings: Cinamone Pitter (and her husband KC), Chaz Pitter, and Nadia Day
- A host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends.
To those who knew and loved him, Cole's presence was a rare and precious gift. His laughter, his creativity, and his boundless heart touched everyone he encountered. While his earthly journey has ended, his spirit lives on—in the beat of his music, the echoes of his laughter, and the indelible memories he helped create.
The family invites those who wish to honor his memory to make a donation to his father's alma mater, Kingston College, an institution that continues to shape young men of excellence.
