Lennox GrahamJohnson C. Smith University Athletics Director Steve Joyner has praised the contribution Jamnaican coach lennox Graham has on the school track & field development.
Graham took the Golden Bulls from fledgling program to one where several athleteswon national titles, chief amongst them many time national champion Leford Green in the 400m and 400m hurdles.
"Coach (Lennox) Graham has systematically tried to build the program and I think he's catching up. We have a good national ranking with our track team and we're excited about it," said Joyner.
During his four years at JCS, Garaham has six NCAA national indoor/outdoor Champions - 2008 (2), 2009 (2), 2010 (2), along with two NCAA Division II national records (60m Hurdles 2008, 60m Hurdles 2009)
He 32 All American Awards in indoor and outdoor track and field. He also led the teams, male and female, to twice 2nd place finish in CIAA Indoor Women's Track and Field Championship (2009, 2010) and twice 3rd place finish in CIAA Outdoor Men's Track and Field Championship (2009, 2010)
