POSITION VACANT: PRINCIPAL, KINGSTON COLLEGE FOR SEPTEMBER 1, 2012

KINGSTON COLLEGE is an all-boys school with two campuses owned and operated by the Anglican Diocese of Jamaica and the Cayman Islands with a current enrolment of 1950 students.


THE BOARD OF GOVERNORS IS SEEKING TO RECRUIT A DYNAMIC EDUCATOR TO FILL THE POSITION OF PRINCIPAL. THE PERSON MUST BE A TRAINED GRADUATE WITH:

  • At least three (3) years teaching experience in a Secondary or Tertiary institution
  • Experience in School Management at the Secondary level

 The successful candidate will be expected to have significant management and leadership skills not only in administering such an institution but also in human resource development, finance and interpersonal relationships.  He/She should demonstrate a clear vision of how to achieve and maintain excellence in a high school.
Letters of application should be accompanied by the Principal’s application form available in the Ministry of Education’s Regional Offices.
