It was with profound sadness and a deep sense of loss that Kingston College’s Board of Management learned of the passing of Bishop Don Taylor.
Bishop Taylor was a Kingston College Old Boy and a past Headmaster of the school and he cherished immensely these aspects of his life’s journey. Coming from a humble background, through hard work and an insatiable appetite for excellence, he successfully achieved his objective of emulating his mentor and role model, Bishop Percival Gibson. In this regard, it was clear that he was led by the vision that Kingston College should produce well-balanced men of integrity and character who would become leaders and set an example in public life and other pursuits. Indeed, he was, undoubtedly, a perfect example of the realisation of that vision.
His was a life dedicated to the service of his God, his Church, his family, his fellow man and Kingston College.
On behalf of the Board of Management, I extend our condolence to his daughter and other members of his family.
May his soul rest in peace.
