KC’s principal, Dave Myrie, recently announced plans to install a Regupol synthetic running track at the school’s Melbourne campus in time for the 2017 track and field season. The cost is estimated at US$400,000 and that’s just to install the running track.  The overall project including equipment could top US$500,000.

The good news is that a US based foundation has pledged to provide US$300,000 with the school charged with raising the remaining balance.

An Urgent Appeal
Principal Myrie has sent an urgent letter to the Kingston College community urging everyone to step up and contribute to make this track a reality.  Spearheaded by the Florida chapter of the KC Old Boys Association, a committee has sprung into action to help solicit the necessary funds to embrace this once in a lifetime opportunity.
