In a recent letter, the Kingston College Development Trust Fund (KCDTF) praised Principal Dave Myrie for the very commendable job he has been doing. The letter goes on to state that the principal’s hard work has been very evident during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

The KCDTF made its largest contribution in a single year recently when it allocated J$9M for pandemic related costs. This has been an exceptional contribution, and the highest in a single year since the inception of The KCDTF 35 years ago.

The letter goes on to state, “We are fully aware that this period is also an extra ordinary one in the life of the school and our nation; The KCDTF is pleased that we could respond in this manner.”

“These contributions are made possible by Kingston College Old Boys and other well-wishers over the years to The KCDTF; as well as earnings from the prudent investment of these funds.

The Directors of The KCDTF hope that this experience underscores the importance of having an entity of this nature that is sustainable. We therefore encourage a wider participation and support of more and more of our KC Alumni to The Kingston College Development Trust Fund, going into the future.

We take this opportunity to express thanks and appreciation to ALL who have been a part of the various initiatives and look forward to your continuing support.

We also welcome others on board with your contributions to keep the Fortis flag flying high!
