Dante Ricardo Edwards Son of Atlanta Old Boy Graduates from Toccoa Falls College

Dante Ricardo Edwards was a member of the recent graduating class of Toccoa Falls College in Toccoa Falls, Ga. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Ministry Leadership. Dante aspires to enter the ministry and is currently weighing his options of where to pursue further studies.

Dante graduated from Mill Creek High School in Braselton, Ga in 2018 and was the recipient of the Future Scholars Scholarship which afforded him a full-ride for his 4 years at Toccoa Falls College. While at TFC Dante was responsible for the creation of several initiatives and was the leader of several others. These included the planning committee for Black History Month Events, Yearbook editor and photographer, member of the selection committee for Future Scholar winners, The Philosophy Club, Students of Black Excellence (SOBE) among others.

Toccoa Falls College is located on 1100 acres in the city of Falls in the north Georgia mountains. The campus is home to Toccoa Falls, a popular local attraction. The 1600 student body is comprised of 57% women, 43% men and 76% white to 9% black, 6% Hispanics and 5% Asians.

Dante is the son of the Vice-President of the Atlanta Chapter, Seymour ‘Ricky’ Edwards (Class of 1980). He has an older brother Chris, who resides in Texas and younger sisters Amore (Mercer University) and Destinee (Mill Creek High School.)
