On Sunday, April 16, 2023, members of the KCOBA Toronto Chapter celebrated KC’s Founders’ Day with the congregation of the St Mary & Martha Anglican Church situated at 1149 Weston Road in Toronto.

In the pre-COVID years a relationship was established with the church and KC Old Boys in Toronto would visit on Founders' Day and other special occasions. However, this was the first visit to the church since the pandemic. Approximately twenty members of the Toronto Chapter were in attendance for the service on Founders' Day. Among them were current president Richard Housen and past presidents, Clive Bariffe, Lance Seymour, Lawrence Prendergast and Norman Wallace. Retired medical doctor, Dr Buddy McIntosh, who was the first president of the Chapter in 1974 was also in attendance.

In his brief address to the congregation, president Richard Housen highlighted that KC was founded in Kingston, Jamaica, by the young visionary Anglican priest Rev. Percival Gibson on 16 April, 1925 and that the school had since grown to become one of the largest and most prestigious high schools in the Caribbean. He also spoke of the mandate of the Toronto Chapter which was to provide financial and other support to the school as it continues to educate and build young men of character in keeping with the vision of Rev. Gibson almost 10 decades ago.

The president also mentioned that in 2025 the Toronto Chapter would be celebrating its fiftieth anniversary with a series of events, including a gala awards dinner and special church service.
