Daughter of Atlanta Old Boy Graduates with Honors

Coja Chanel Tyler Jones recently graduated Cum Laude from Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, Georgia, she majored in Communications and minored in French.

She is a Norcross High School graduate who earned many awards including induction into the National Honor Society in 2016. She was also a Presidential Scholar. As a result, she was awarded a $40,000 scholarship from Oglethorpe as well as additional Scholarships such as the Zelle Miller Scholarship to help defray her college expenses.

Coja is the daughter of KC Old Boy Conrad E. 'Atom' Jones, a former director of the KC Old Boy’s Association’s Atlanta chapter. She was born at Brookdale Hospital in New York and shortly thereafter moved to Jamaica but soon migrated to the USA with her Parents in 2001.

She has accepted a job in the Office of Admissions at Oglethorpe University.

Oglethorpe is a private university. It was chartered in 1835 and named in honor of General James Edward Oglethorpe, founder of the Colony of Georgia. Its 100 acre campus is listed in the National Registry of Historic places. Its campus buildings were built in a Gothic revival architecture style.
